I heard so many parents tell us as teachers to do whatever you need to with my child-I’ve given up (this was at the kindergarten and first grade level). And so many times I had to tell them don’t you ever give up on your child. I had to tell them that we’ll find a way and I’m not giving up-we’re going to fight this battle together-and so here I stand.
